Getting Started on Scout
Visit https://scoutapp.ai/join to create your Scout account.
After creating your account, enter your invite code on the next page. Your invite code can be found within the body of the email invitation.
Fill out your basic info such as name, username, and preferred currency.
You will be asked if you have a spreadsheet of inventory that you’d like to import.
Selecting “No” will skip the spreadsheet upload and take you to the next step of syncing your StockX account.
If you have a spreadsheet, select “Yes”. You will be shown instructions on how to import your spreadsheet, which are below:
Format your existing spreadsheet using the Scout template. All your data should match with the new format.
Once you’re finished, click “I’m Ready” to move to the next page. Drag and drop your formatted sheet. Select your native currency and continue.
Once the spreadsheet tool appears, assign your spreadsheet items to a matching product on StockX.
On the left side, use the search bar to search for the product. Select the right one, and then type in the row(s) where the product is located on the spreadsheet. Click Save. You can also select items in bulk and then search for it. Once you’re finished, Scout will start importing your spreadsheet into your account.
Next, sync your StockX account with Scout by clicking the “Log In” button. If you uploaded a spreadsheet, Scout will automatically link any existing StockX listings to items that were imported from your spreadsheet. If you’d prefer to not merge items, you can unlink them and keep your spreadsheet item & StockX item separate.
Add purchase prices to your items imported from StockX, or default them to retail price if you’d like.
Congrats, you’re all set! Welcome to Scout.
