The Scout Dashboard displays key metrics that help you understand your portfolio better. This view allows you to see your profit, sales income and more. Filtering by different time periods also allows you to view your metrics based on values during that given time period.

Main Graphs

Scout Profit is the main graph on your dashboard. This shows the total profit you've made including your unrealized profit from items in your inventory.

By default, the graph displays your profit made from sales and your unrealized profit in your inventory. The unrealized profit is the potential amount of profit you could make from selling through StockX.

Hovering your mouse cursor over different parts of the graph will display your profit based on the time period.

In addition to the profit graph, you can view four other graphs by clicking on the Change Chart dropdown button at the top.

Scout Portfolio is a sum of your total profit from sales, unrealized profit and the total amount you've spent on items. The Scout Portfolio graph is similar to the Scout Profit graph except it also adds in your total purchases represented as capital.

Unrealized Profit is the amount of profit you would make if you sold everything in your inventory. The value is calculated based on the average market values of your items on StockX, subtracted by the purchase price of all your inventory items. Please keep in mind that platform fees are currently not accounted for.

Realized Profit is your total profit made in sales. Return on Investment (ROI) is a key indicator that reflects a ratio of how much you made versus how much you invested.

Inventory Value The Inventory Value graph shows the total market value of all your inventory items. The market value is based on StockX.

Clicking on a Point in the Chart

Clicking on a specific point in the chart will display a breakdown of your items on the right hand side. Each graph will display results based on the metric being measured.

For example, on the Unrealized Profit graph you can click on a point to bring up all your items from your inventory. This reflects how much you'd make if you sold all the items you were holding since the day you selected. From there you can click on the item to view the size breakdown and total amount held.

The Unrealized Profit is (Total Market Value - Total Purchase Price) of all items in your inventory. This reflects the amount of profit you could have made by selling on that specific day. In addition, you can view any new purchases you made that day by clicking “New Purchases”.

Reports

Below the main graph are 9 smaller charts that provide insight on your income, total spend, expenses and more. Like the main graph, hovering your cursor over the different points in each graph will portray the metric during that given time.

Types of Charts

Sales Income - Your total income, including fees and shipping, for all your items and other incomes.

Total Spend - The total amount you have spent (including tax and shipping) for all your items, expenses and other incomes.
